A collection of paranormal events in my life:

Ghost stories in my life
Ghost stories in my life

Do we all have a ghost in common? Isn't it? The question will surely arise. Whether young or old, this one question remains an unanswered mystery within us. A similar mysterious question arose in me.

In this post I am going to share with you about my paranormal experiences so stay tuned.

From my childhood I used to watch ghost stories and movies related to ghosts. The fear and questioning about it increased by continuing to look at it like this.

When I was studying in 12th standard, my interest in occultism became more intense. I was very interested in hearing the paranormal stories of many people. Accordingly many of my friends shared their paranormal experience with me. But even then I didn't believe in it. It is very scary when friends say this and then when I think about it alone, many questions arise in me. If you tell other people that there are no ghosts, what they say is, "Do you believe there is a God, then there is a ghost?" Again the question arises whether there is a God for me. My mind says "no" when asked if there is a benevolent God, but when asked if there is a scary ghost, it ponders and says "maybe". This is my mindset.

In my 12th grade I brought up the regularity of going to Tucson and some of my classmates were talking about paranormal sightings during recess. They then claimed to have seen a terrifying figure and captured it on their cell phones. When I asked them to give it to me too, I was even more suspicious when they told me that it would be dangerous if they kept it on their cell phone. Then one day when I was returning home from tuition, I went with my friends at 11pm to some places that many people are afraid to go. Considering that some people said that ghosts can be seen on camera, we took my cell phone and went to the place and took some video recordings. But I don't see anything in that post. So I came to the decisive conclusion that there is no such thing as the supernatural.

But it was only then that I realized that there is such a thing as the paranormal when some very terrifying paranormal events started happening to me.

That one day:

When I was studying in college I used to miss the college bus as my evening classes ended at 7 pm. There is no government bus facility. So I would come out of the college thinking that I could ask for a lift to go home. After waiting for a long time, some person will see the cab and pick me up. But only on full moon days I get a very quick lift and go home. It will be 9 o'clock when I return home on Mother's Day. This was going on continuously and it was past 8-9 o'clock when I went home after class. Thus I told the teachers to leave home a little early as they were going home very late. My teachers refused. As usual, I was waiting outside for the college classes to end late, and the guards standing outside the college called me and told me that there is a lot of paranormal activity in the vicinity of the college and the motorists who know it will not stop their vehicles and pick up anyone. With a sense of fear, they said that lift will not be available on Ammavasai and lift will be available only on Poornami.

I thought a lot that this is supernatural, then I understood the mystery in it. That means there are very few street lights in the vicinity of my college and there is a lot of distance between each street light. So if I am standing where there are no street lights, it will take some time for the oncoming motorists to see me asking for help. Sometimes they pass me by without even looking. He will go without paying attention to his mother's house that day. But realizing that there is a little more light on a full moon day, there is a chance of getting more help, so I stopped right at the foot of the street lights and asked for a lift and reached home on time.

It was then that I realized that the answer to the question can be found only if we think from a slightly different angle than the usual way of looking at the questions.

Although many of these incidents have convinced me that there is no paranormal at all, as time goes on, some regrettable things have happened. Two people from our town died in an accident. One person died due to marital dispute. One person got electrocuted and some people near the deceased's house died and thus mysterious events started happening especially near my house. About eight people died in that one year. Their separation saddened and frightened me. Beyond this, another category of people scared me the most. And that person's house was situated behind my house. Many people kept talking about his loss as supernatural. However, I didn't even think about it as I went about my daily routine.

Then one night at exactly 1 o'clock in the morning I heard a noise like someone running with a lock in front of the door of my house. I have never felt such fear before. That too sounded right close to my ear. I didn't open the door because of fear and I didn't tell anyone about it the first day I heard it. I didn't take it seriously as it was just me. Again a few days later while I was sleeping at night the same clicking sound stopped near my ear and became silent. It seemed as if someone was walking and standing near me and I got scared and told my mother that no matter what, we will tell this to the people at home.

It was only then that I realized that it was not Brahma but a real knocking sound. My family had also heard the same knocking sound. At that time, my mother, brother and I were at home as my father was away for work. My mother heard the sound of the lock and said to open the door. My brother also tried to open it when he heard the loud noise of the lock and ran away. We went to bed without opening the door when I said no.

As my family and I were talking about this, everyone in our village heard this noise. That was what they were talking about. Then my faith in the supernatural peaked. I told this to my friends too but as the saying goes "he who sows reaps what he sows" and they didn't believe me just like I didn't believe my friends.

Then one day a vehicle passed through the town to bring down all the dogs with a terrible noise. After the vehicle came and went, I couldn't even hear the sound of the lock, it was very mysterious. Then a person in our town explained this mystery to us. The last person who died had a dog at home. He also tied a bell around the dog's neck. After the man's death, the dog was in poor condition without food. It started screaming very loudly. The neighbors noticed this and opened the door and let the dog out.

Since the ownerless dog had not seen humans for days, he used to enter houses when humans were not around and search for any food. One day it came to our house and was lying at the door. When I heard the sound of the bell tied around its neck, I did not open the door and was afraid that it was a supernatural phenomenon.

Then one day in the middle of the night a dog catcher came to our village. Seeing that, the dogs got scared and howled loudly and caught the helpless dog along with many other dogs. That's why we couldn't hear any sound after that.

If I had overcome my fear and opened the door that day, I and the people in my town would have understood the truth.

What I have understood in my life from these incidents is that if there is any fear or hesitation, if you face it at that moment, you will understand what the real situation is. If you face the fear and face it with courage, success is sure.

If any of you have had a ghost experience, post it in the comment box below, if you like it, share it.
